Diplomatic Security – Afghanistan

The European Diplomatic Mission to Afghanistan entrusted to Page Group the security of the Diplomatic compound in Kabul, the Head of Mission and its Diplomatic staff. The project included the organisation of the management structure of both the physical security guard force, Close Protection team and mobile Quick Reaction Force. The guard force consisted of the international Management Team and the Operations Room staff, armed third-country national guards and unarmed local national guards. The Close Protection teams and mobile Quick Reaction Force were manned by the armed international staff. In total over 250 personnel were deployed. All third-country national staff were former Indian Army Gurkhas or former members of the Singapore Police Gurkha Detachment.

The full suite of security services provided included: security management, armed close protection and mobile security, armed and unarmed static security guarding, intelligence analysis, armoured vehicles, personal protective equipment, weapons and ammunition, security life support, quick reaction force, monitoring, 24/7 operations room, security planning, and crisis response.
