2019 is looking to be another interesting and challenging year, particularly in the EU! The uncertainty of UK’s future relationship with the EU obviously dominates the headlines. Whatever the outcome it is perhaps forcing and encouraging companies to look outside EU for new business opportunities.
Page Group operates extensively outside EU and can assist in mitigating any risks in securing new business relationships. This can include:
Preparing country risk analysis reports
Conducting due diligence on new trading partners, third party suppliers or distributers (as required by US’s FCPA and UK’s Bribery Act) and mitigate against forming a relationship with a corrupt or fraudulent company.
Providing discreet security to senior executives when they travel to these new locations.
Or Conducting Security reviews and assessments on new facilities
Particularly on the Security side of business the majority of our projects are in high (security) risk environments but this has not discouraged many of our commercial clients from operating in these jurisdictions.
In 2018 we managed either investigation or security projects in Afghanistan, Pakistan, KSA, Israel, Palestinian Territories, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, UAE, Egypt, Iran, Mexico, Tunisia and India.
However, we still regularly operate (and will continue to do so) in the EU supporting clients in numerous ways including asset tracing, close/executive protection, litigation and arbitration support and background checks.
